Supporting Local Climate Action Planning

Since the late 2000s, EPIC has been supporting development of local climate action plans (CAPs) by completing greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, estimating the GHG reduction potential of policies and programs, and conducting cost analyses to determine the impact to city budget and residents and businesses.

Local Climate Action Planning Map

The following map shows the current and proposed CAPs for each city in the San Diego Region, as well as their CAP baseline years, adoption status, and latest adoption year. Click below to see interactive map and each city for details.
