Outdoor Adventures offers affordable outdoor equipment rentals to USD students, faculty, staff, and alumni. From camping and backpacking to surfing, paddling, biking, and beach days, we can help you get the gear you need for your next adventure.

How to Rent
- Reserve your gear online or visit the OA rental center
Browse equipment and submit your rental reservation through the USD Campus Recreation rental portal. - Pick up at Outdoor Adventures
Come to the Outdoor Adventures office in the Bosley Center, near Bosley Cafe, during rental hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. - Bring your USD ID
Rentals are available to current USD students, faculty, staff, and alumni. - Check your gear and get ready to explore
Our staff will help you complete checkout, make sure you have the right equipment, and answer basic questions about using your gear.
Online reservations are recommended to ensure equipment is available when you want it.
Missed Pickups & Refunds: Online rentals are nonrefundable if your equipment is not picked up. Reserved equipment is held for you and unavailable to other renters during your reservation period.
